October 2008-Kaley, Anna, and I went to McDonald's on Thursday. We drove through the Drive-Thru and I told the lady we wanted a Happy Meal. From the backseat Kaley says, "No. I want a Mean Meal."
November 2008- The other day Kaley fell off the bed and hurt her leg. I asked her, "Kaley are you okay? (It looked like it hurt)" Kaley replies to me while examining her leg, "It is okay, there's no blood." Alrighty then. No blood, no foul.
Yesterday we went and voted. We all went to together as a family and I tried to explain to Kaley what it means to vote but she kept asking if we were going on a vote or where the vote was. Vote- boat- they sound similar.
Last night Jed and I were watching a show on our computer. Kaley had already gone to bed. About half way through the show Kaley came out and explained that her prince Vance from church has moved away. She then told us that we need to move and she will come with us to where Vance lives (he moved to South Korea) so he can be her prince. We told her we are probably not going to move to Korea so she will need to find a new prince or maybe her and Vance can see each other again at BYU. She seemed a bit disappointed and said, "I guess I will marry Ben (He is another boy at church in her nursery class)." I can't help but chuckle at the things Kaley says sometimes and the power of persuasion of Disney princess movies. I will have to explain to her later that relationships are a bit more complicated than that.
